Thanks for watching KITV4 News online, I'm Paul Drewes. Fire investigators will return to the scene of a fire in Waipahu this morning. The fire happened around 9:30 last night at a housing complex on Ku-hau-lua street. One unit was heavily damaged-- and several others received smoke and water damage but no one was injured. Crews will clean out more dead fish today -- after a spill in Honolulu Harbor. A Matson ship leaving the harbor yesterday reported a molasses spill--- which is believed to be what is suffocating the fish and causing the kill-off. Everyone is to stay out of the affected waters from the Kalihi channel to Keehi Lagoon. On Kauai... Water will be shut off for Wailua Houselots tomorrow at night. The outage will allow the Department of water to tie into an existing water system. Homes in the area can expect little or NO water service from 9 TOMORROW night to 6 Thursday morning. So Water wagons will be set up at the Brick Oven Pizza parking lot. The Oahu housing market seeing a BOOM right now -- with double-digit increases reported in August. According to the Honolulu Board of Realtors-- there was a 25-percent INCREASE in the number of single-family home sales. The average price of a home sale was 665-thousand dollars.
