I'm Lara Yamada. A local musician is expected to be SENTENCED today-- after federal agents found 20 pounds of marijuana hidden in drums he checked-in on a flight from San Francisco to Honolulu. Brian Kusko faces up to five years in prison after entering into a plea deal with prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to possessing, with intent to distribute the drugs. Defense attorney William Harrison says he plans to ask for probation. Police continue their search... for the suspect involved in a stabbing. It happened during a massive street brawl in Kalihi at around 10:30 Saturday night. Police asked us to blur out exclusive video of the scene -- saying it could hamper the investigation. The brawl happened near School and Aupuni street. Two people were stabbed... And a police officer was hurt. Police are asking for your help identifying a man -- suspected of stealing from the Nordstrom Store on Kapiolani Boulevard. The H-P-D website reports -- this man took merchandise around 5p-m on August 9th, then left the store without paying. If you think you can help... call crime stoppers at 955-8300. Over 500 people have registered for today's 12th Annual Native Hawaiian Convention. The convention brings together native Hawaiian leaders at the Hawaii Convention Center. Officials say the convention will address findings in the 2013 State Auditor Report -- on the state Department of Hawaiian Homelands -- and more. Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement sponsors the 3- day event. This year's theme is "Rise as One." Today 8 state parks on Oahu will switch to fall and winter hours. That includes: Ka Iwi Scenic Shoreline, Kahana Beach Park and Sand Island State Recreation Area. The parks will open at 7 a.m. and close at 6:45 p.m. each day.
