A 43-year-old man has died after drowning at Hanauma Bay Sunday morning.
Emergency Medical Services says the man was brought to shore by lifeguards around 10:15 a.m. The lifeguards performed CPR on the man until EMS arrived on the scene and took over treatment.
The man was then transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Honolulu Fire Capt. James Todd says the man was a visitor from Baltimore and part of a snorkeling tour group.
