A 28-year-old was charged in connection with three Big Island stabbings, police said.
Vahara Mims is facing charges of first-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree attempted murder and other charges, police said.
Two people were found with stab wounds at a bar on Keawe Street early Friday morning, police said.
The victims told investigators an unknown man stabbed them, damaged a car and ran from the scene, police said. Minutes later, police received a report of a stabbing at a home on Ohai Street in the Wainaku area.
One of the victims was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He was later upgraded to serious condition. The second victim was treated and released. The third victim was listed as stable.
Bail was set at $500,000.
