The Ice Challenge has gone viral in Hawaii in a move to turn people's attention to charities.
KITV4's Brenton Awa took the challenge Monday and called out sports director Robert Kekaula to take the chilly seat.
The rules are that if someone calls you out after dousing themselves in water and ice, you have 24 hours to either succumb to the cold yourself or donate to a charity of your choice.
Three organizations that have benefited already are the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the American Cancer Society and Shriners Hospital.
"I think it was a great awareness for cancer. To be honest, I wouldn't have donated if I didn't get called out," said Seta Perry, a charity donor.
After his icy surprise, Kekaula called out two more KITV4 personalities.
