Box jellyfish signs are up at beaches and parks across Oahu...due to the monthly box jellyfish influx. According to the Department of Ocean Safety 16-hundred box jellyfish were counted just in the Waikiki area alone. Signs were also posted at Hanauma Bay, Makaha and Ala Moana Beach Parks. Most of the swimmers we talked to in Waikiki were not too worried--- while others took the signs seriously.
