A beloved kumu is inspiring more than a hundred hula performers to dance with finesse this weekend. The 23rd annual Hula'Oni E Hula Festival at the Hilton Hawaiian Village is being held in memory of Aloha Dalire who died on August 6th. 3 SEC NAT The 64 year old kumu of Keola- laulani H'lau lapa O Laka died August 6th, leaving a legacy of hula tradition to her thousands of students. Today, Keiki and Kupuna from 21 halau, including several from Japan, competed in age and style divisions.
