While Hawaii Pacific University continues it's plans to renovate Aloha Tower as its new faciity, faculty members are feeling the effects of what's being called "budget re-alignment." A spokesperson for the university says 18 contracts were not renewed and adjustments will be made to employee benefits. The adjustments are a result of declining enrollment at HPU.... from about 74-hundred last year to 67-hundred this year. HPU says students will continue to have access to the classes necessary for their degrees.
