Officials with the Hawaii Department of Public Safety say they found a woman who failed to return to the Women's Community Correctional Center last Friday.

Jennifer Garcia left the correctional facility Friday morning  to meet up with her support group and was scheduled to return to the WCCC by 9 p.m.  When she failed to return, police and sheriffs were notified.

Garcia was found in the University area.  She was in a transitional program called Bridge, which is a halfway house located within the WCCC.  She was serving time on a drug and robbery charge.

Public safety officials say she will be charged with second-degree escape.
