When the sun came up, neighbors saw high voltage power lines down, scattered wires and utility poles on the street and surrounding cars. The truck hit the pole at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Once the first pole went down, three more followed. Neighbors awakened by the crash went out of their homes and saw the driver trying to leave.
"He was trying to reverse the truck but the lines that had fallen in behind him were keeping him from moving," said Hauoli Reeves.
