The National Weather Service says a high surf advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. Thursday to 6 p.m. Sunday for south-facing shores of all islands.
Forecasters say a series of south swells will impact the islands through the weekend.
The initial south swell is expected to bring advisory levels to all islands on Thursday with a reinforcing swell possibly bringing higher surf levels Saturday.
This advisory will likely be extended with the arrival of the Saturday swell.
Surf is expected to be 6-to-10-feet-high from Thursday morning through Friday night.
Beach goers, swimmers and surfers should heed all advice given by Ocean Safety officials and exercise caution.
