LAHAINA, Hawaii -

Sand? Check.

Water? Sure.

Sun. You got it.

Shark? Present.

Wait. What?

That's right. Saturday at Baby Beach in Lahaina, a shark made its way to the waters off the shoreline.

The Department of Land and Natural Resources was not called to the scene, but officials say it could have been a reef shark because it was found in shallow water.

The sighting comes days after a shark bit off a woman's arm at Palauea Beach in South Maui.

The condition of the shark-bite victim has not been released.
