HONOLULU -

A salvage company was called in Saturday to help remove a boat that ran aground off a reef at Waikiki's Queens Beach.

The 29-foot sailboat, named the Winsome, was on its way back to Ala Wai Harbor when it ran aground around 9:20 p.m. Friday on the Diamond Head side of the wall.

The captain of the Winsome said the boat was on autopilot when the incident happened.

Four people were on board, but no one was injured.
