Puna woman charged in terroristic threatening case

Harbrecht-Kalua charged in gun incident near Keonepoko Elementary

HILO, Hawaii -

Big Island police say a Puna woman has been charged for an incident involving a report of a gun near Keonepoko Elementary School last week.

On Friday afternoon, detectives charged 49-year-old Lokelani Lenore Harbrecht-Kalua with first-degree terroristic threatening.  Her bail was set at $2,000.

She was held at the Hilo police cellblock pending her initial court appearance scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Police recovered three firearms during the investigation.

Ioster Henly, 39, was charged with possessing a loaded firearm on a public highway, place to keep loaded firearm, place to keep ammunition, registration mandatory and permit to acquire after he was accused of carrying a loaded shotgun on a public highway in Kealakekua on Jan. 1.
