Power restored to Honolulu businesses after outage

Residential customers were not affected

HONOLULU -

Power was restored to several businesses in the Kakaako area Sunday after crews wrapped up work on underground power lines, Hawaiian Electric Company said.

Maintenance on the power lines began at 9 p.m. Saturday and was restored around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Residential customers were not affected.

Businesses where power was cut were the Bike Factory, Children's Discovery Center and several Cutter-owned car dealerships.

HECO said the Children's Discovery Center will remain closed on Sunday.
