Big Island police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a robbery in Waimea Monday night.
A 34-year-old visitor from France says it happened around 9 p.m. at the Waimea Center after a man asked for a cigarette or money. When the visitor said no, the man shoved him against his car and grabbed a bag of clothes before fleeing on Mamalahoa Highway.
The suspect is described as in his 30s, around 6 feet tall, with a thin build, pointy nose, and a word tattooed on the right side of his neck. He was last seen wearing shorts and a dark hoodie.
