Honolulu police have launched a manhunt for a gun-toting robber who they say targeted four Honolulu businesses in a 24-hour period.
The heists began just after 2 a.m. on Feb. 1. That's when a guy climbed through the drive-thru window of the Jack in the Box in Kunia.
Police say he pulled out a gun, took money from the register and fled. Later, at around 11:45 p.m., police believe the same suspect attempted to rob the Chevron Food Mart in Waipahu; pulling a gun but he was not able to enter the business and fled.
Less than two hours later, officers say he pulled a gun at the Chevron in Salt Lake, but an employee saw the suspect approaching and was able to lock the door prior to entry. The suspect attempted to break the glass before he fled.
Then just 40 minutes later, police say the suspect targeted the drive-thru window of the McDonalds in Waikele. He removed cash from an office at gunpoint.
