Police release information about body found in Central Oahu

Witnesses: Body appeared to be decapitated

Honolulu police have released a picture of a tattoo from a body that was found Sunday on Mililani Cemetery Road near Ka Uka Boulevard.

Police are looking for witnesses in this case.  The man's body may have been in the area from Thursday, Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 15.

Investigators say the man is described as having a large build.  The man had numerous tattoos.  He had a tattoo on his upper arm, a cross on his calf, and the words "Evil," "Pain" and "Hatered" written in a band around his wrist.

Witnesses say it appeared the body had been decapitated.  Police are investigating a possible homicide.

A possible homicide investigation has been opened after witnesses stumbled on a plastic bag containing a body around 4:40 p.m. "I found the body...it smelled really bad," said Joseph & Cher Sotelo who found the body hidden behind branches on Mililani Cemetery Road.
