Police investigating Ewa Beach shooting

Man, 26, boy, 15, shot at; no one injured

EWA BEACH, Hawaii -

Honolulu police have opened an attempted murder case after a shooting in Ewa Beach on Monday.

At around 11:45 p.m., a 26-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were on the street when they observed the suspect passing by, according to police.

The teenager through he knew the suspect and stopped him.  The suspect became upset and yelled at them.

Investigators say the suspect then took out a firearm and shot at the man and the boy.  No one was injured.

The victims reported the incident from another location.

Police have not yet found the male suspect.
