Honolulu police found the vehicle suspected to be involved in a hit-and-run in Aiea on Saturday.
The green 1994 Ford Explorer was found parked on Waimano Home Road and was found with damage consistent with the collision after receiving a tip. Police say the SUV came out looking blue in the photograph, but it is actually green.
The vehicle has been recovered as evidence. Police are still looking for witnesses in the hit-and-run.
At around 12:24 a.m. Saturday, a man in his 20s was crossing Kamehameha Highway at Hekaha Street when he was struck by the SUV. The vehicle fled the scene.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
