The event opens Friday night and runs over the next two weekends.
The company announced that it now has permits to operate a shuttle service from Haha'ione Elementary School.
"I think when it's all said and done, I think the Hawaii Kai community will embrace it," said Donna Smith of E.K. Fernandez.
The company also just received permission for fair goers to use half of the Maunalua Bay lot in the evening. But as part of the condition, the company will have to pay for two on duty state conservation officers to make sure there is no parking on the grass and that the boat ramp is not blocked.
Following Tuesday's meeting with city transportation officials, E.K. Fernandez also now got a permit to use a portion of the Park and Ride lots near the Bark Park during evening hours on Friday and Saturday and all day Sunday.
