Mountain View man indicted for shooting

Police: Suspect fired several shots at people in upper Puna subdivision

HONOLULU, Hawaii -

A Big Island grand jury indicted a Mountain View man for allegedly shooting at three people in a remote subdivision in March.

Carl Andrew Wright is charged with two counts of making terroristic threats, three counts of reckless endangering and a firearms violation.

A police report says Wright fired multiple shots from a 22-caliber rifle at three people in the Eden Roc subdivision in upper Puna on March 2.

No one was hurt.

The indictment was handed down last Wednesday. Bail is set at $17,000.
