The Honolulu Medical Examiner has identified the victim of a fatal pedestrian collision near Ko'olina on Dec. 13.
Loreto Someros, 59, of Pearl City was crossing Farrington Highway just past the Ko'olina off-ramp that Friday night when he was struck and killed by a 24-year-old female driver.
Someros was crossing from mauka to makai with his friend when the collision occurred. He was apparently on his way to work as part of a cleaning crew for the nearby Aulani Hotel. He was not in a crosswalk when he was struck.
