Man, 38, arrested in Waipahu infant death case
Police: Injuries were non-accidental
Honolulu police arrested a 38-year-old man Wednesday night for second-degree murder after a 6-week-old infant was found dead at a Waipahu home.
The baby was found unresponsive Tuesday afternoon. Paramedics transported the infant to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the baby boy suffered injuries that were non-accidental in nature.
A suspect was identified and arrested without incident.
