Man, 19, arrested in Hilo burglary investigation

HILO, Hawaii -

A 19-year-old homeless man has been arrested after a string of break-ins were reported at an apartment complex near the University of Hawaii at Hilo campus.

According to the Hawaii Tribune-Herald, Deejay Shrew was arrested Tuesday at Hale Kawili.  He was charged with first-degree burglary and two counts of fourth-degree sex assault after he allegedly broke into three occupied units.

One of the victims claims Shew appeared intoxicated when he exposed himself.

Bail has been set at $6,000.
