Kamehameha Highway at Waikane Valley Road was closed in both directions due to flooding overnight.
The National Weather Service upgraded a flood advisory for the island of Oahu to a flash flood warning until 11:35 p.m. Wednesday.
The warning and advisory have since been cancelled.
At one point, Waikane was hit hard by heavy rain measuring 3-inches-per-hour, according to forecasters.
A thunderstorm cell stretched out between Kaneohe and Laie for about three hours overnight.
Waikane Stream rose about 7 feet in an hour.
Kamehameha Highway was reopened at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
