Kahului man gets 18-month sentence in sex assault case
Farrelly, 20, pleaded no contest to sexually assaulting 15-year-old girl
A 20-year-old Kahului man was sentenced Thursday to 18 months in jail after pleading no contest to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old, according to the Maui News.
Prosecutors say Vincent Farrelly sexually assaulted the teenager while she was asleep in a bedroom of a friend's house in May 2012.
In another case, a 17-year-old girl obtained a court order against Farrelly. He pleaded no contest to terroristic threatening in that case.
Farrelly received one year in jail in the threatening case.
