Honolulu police searching for 4 men in Kalihi stabbing

Victim, 39, taken to hospital in serious, but stable, condition

Honolulu police are investigating a stabbing in Kalihi early Friday that sent a 39-year-old man to the hospital in serious, but stable, condition.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at Akepo Lane at around 1:30 a.m.

Emergency Medical Services officials say the man was stabbed multiple times and was taken to the Queen's Medical Center.

Police are looking for four men believed to be involved in the stabbing.

A witness says one of the men was wearing a blue bandana and blue shirt and ran on North King Street toward the Downtown Honolulu area.
