Honolulu police officer in stable condition after attack

HONOLULU, Hawaii -

A Honolulu police officer was in stable condition Saturday at the Queen’s Medical Center’s trauma center after being hit with an object.

Authorities said officers investigated a potential fight involving 50 people in the street. Officers said two 21-year-old men and a 32-year-old man were stabbed in the incident

The Honolulu police officer who was injured had been trying to disperse the crowd and was hit from behind.

Police said they don’t have a suspect in the attack and have not made any arrests.
