Hawaiian's Sydney flight turns around due to warning light

Plane landed safely in Honolulu; to depart again at 11 p.m. Monday

A Hawaiian Airlines flight from Honolulu to Sydney, Australia had to come back to Hawaii Monday after a warning light came on during the flight, according to a Hawaiian Airlines spokesperson.

The light came on about 35 minutes after take-off.

The plane landed safely at Honolulu International Airport.

No word yet on why the light came on.

The flight is scheduled to leave Honolulu at around 11 p.m. Monday.
