Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

Two men are under investigation for attempted murder, after police say fight turned into a stabbing at Mother Waldron Park Thursday.

According to police, the fight began around 1:30 p.m. when a 26-year-old man got into a verbal confrontation with five men at the Honolulu park.

Officers said this then led to a fight where one man was stabbed. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police recovered a knife-like object at the scene.

Two suspects, a 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, were arrested on Pohukaina Street about a half hour later.

Both men have not been charged as of Friday afternoon. They both face attempted murder charges.
