The fight is not over for an Army Major sentenced to 10 years in prison.
On Friday, a military jury found former Pacific Command officer Major Seivirak Inson guilty on several charges.
Including illegally possessing classified defense documents, forgery, and failure to report foreign contacts.
Inson has maintained he made a mistake by bringing home classified documents, but says it was to do research on Cambodia not to engage in espionage or spying.
His attorney says in the coming months Inson will ask a convening authority for clemency, which essenitially has the power to overrule his sentence.
