The Honolulu medical examiner said Tuesday that the driver of the truck in a deadly crash on the Pali Highway on May 5 had a blood alcohol content of 0.123.

The legal blood alcohol content limit in Hawaii is 0.08.

Kailua resident Mark Garcia, 33, was the driver of the truck, according to police.  He died in the crash along with his daughter's friend 13-year-old Kamalani Kalama.  Garcia's daughter Denay was critically injured in the crash.
