HONOLULU -

The hearing to schedule the retrial against federal agent Christopher Deedy has been moved to mid-September.

Originally the hearing was scheduled for Friday.

The new hearing will be at 1 p.m. in Judge Karen Ahn's courtroom.

The original second degree murder case against Deedy, resulting from the shooting death of 22-year-old Kollin Elderts, resulted in a mistrial after jurors could not reach a verdict Monday.

On Tuesday KITV spoke to both the City Prosecuting Attorney and the jury foreman about the first trial about the murder case.
