HONOLULU -

Court proceedings Tuesday focused on the man who says he tried to stop the fight at the Waikiki McDonald's that ultimately turned deadly back in November 2011.

Alexander Byrd says he heard Special Agent Christopher Deedy repeatedly tell Kollin Elderts, "I'm going to shoot you in the face," after an initial exchange of words between Elderts and Deedy.

Defense attorneys questioned the credibility of Byrd's recollection of the events after citing conflicting testimony between police reports and what he had to say in court.

KITV4 News will have more on Day 6 of the trial of Christopher Deedy tonight at 5, 6 and 10.
