KANEOHE, Hawaii -

Honolulu police investigated a critical crash at the Windward City Shopping Center in Kaneohe Wednesday afternoon.

It happened 4:30 p.m. between Longs Drugs and 24 Hour Fitness. Police said a man had came out of a dialysis center, got in his car and started driving down a roadway.

The 49-year-old is said to have had a medical condition while driving that caused him to hit three parked cars and a woman who had just come out of 24 Hour Fitness.

"The female, a female in her early 30's was rushed to the medical center in extremely critical condition. The driver of the vehicle is in serious condition at this point," said Lieutenant Robert Towne, Honolulu Police Department.

Witnesses said the woman rolled over the car and hit her head on the concrete. Police tell KITV4 that the car continued to roll down the road, crossing Aumoku street, crashing into a fence and ending up in the front yard of a home nearby.

Police are investigating the medical condition. If the situation warrants it, HPD would present a criminal case.

Aumoku Street was closed between Koa Kahiko Street and the entrance of Windward City Shopping Center for over three hours.
