A candlelight vigil will be held Wednesday for a Maui mother who has been missing for a week and a half.
Moreira Monsalve's loved ones will honor the mother of three at 6:30 p.m. at the Ka'ahumanu Church in Wailuku. Organizers are are asking everyone to wear bright pink, which they say is Monsalve's favorite color.
“It is being held to bring the community together, and to sing prayers and dedicate ourselves to Mo in finding her, and to show the family our support,” said Lisa Thompson, a friend of Monsalve.
Monsalve was last seen at her ex-boyfriend’s home on Jan. 12 and has not been seen since.
Friends are organizing another big search for Monsalve on Saturday. For information on how you can help you, click here.
