Honolulu police say a body was found Wednesday near Wilhelmina Rise.
Police and fire crews were called to Kawelolani Place at around 11 a.m.
A man in his 20s was flying a remote-controlled helicopter when the wind blew it over a ledge. He hiked down and found the badly decomposed body.
Police say a backpack and identification was with the body. Although investigators believe the body is male, they say it is not the missing 70-year-old man who was last seen in the Ala Moana area.
Investigators say this death does not seem suspicious and there was no homeless encampment in the area.
The case is classified as an unattended death.
