Accused Kailua murderer ordered to stand trial
Kim accused of stabbing 58-year-old man to death at Kailua District Park
A state judge ordered a 48-year-old man Wednesday to stand trial for murder in the stabbing death of another man last Friday in Kailua.
Brian Kim is charged with second-degree murder.
A witness told police he saw Kim lunge at the victim and appeared to be punching him at Kailua District Park.
Police say Kim was using a knife and stabbed the victim. The medical examiner identified the victim Wednesday as 58-year-old Robert Coleman Jr. of Kailua.
Bail for Kim is set at $250,000.
