Nineteen emergency sirens failed in Maui County, Hawai'i County and Kaua'i County in Thursday's monthly test, according to county officials.
Big Island Civil Defense says six of its 71 sirens failed to sound. Three of those failed sirens were in tsunami evacuation areas.
In Maui County, seven out of 72 sirens did not sound. Maui County officials are still waiting on results from two locations.
On Kauai, six out of 43 sirens failed on Thursday. Numbers on Oahu are still being calculated.
