Xtreme BUGS exhibit at Bishop Museum extended
You can see 20+ oversized animatronic bugs through April 14
The larger-than-life Xtreme BUGS exhibit at the Bishop Museum are extending their stay through Sunday, April 14.
Don't miss the chance to view more than 20 oversized animatronic bugs, from a fluttering monarch butterfly and ladybug to a praying mantis and a giant Madagascar hissing cockroach.
The exhibit also features more than 100 stationary insects and flora, some grouped in themed action scenes, including bees pollinating, spiders hunting, ants feasting upon a scorpion, and cicadas hatching.
It's on the Bishop Museum's Great Lawn. Xtreme BUGS was produced by Dinosaurs Unearthed, and is made possible with the support of Diamond Head Storage and Horizon Lines.
Adults - $19.95; Seniors (65+) - $16.95; Youth (4-12) - $14.95; Hawaii residents and Military with ID – Adults $12.95; Seniors (65+) - $10.95; Youth (4-12) - $8.95; (non-resident adult visitors accompanied by Military or a Hawaii resident with ID Adults - $16.95; Seniors (65+) - $13.95; and Youth (4-12) - $11.95); Bishop Museum members and children age three and younger are always free.
Children age 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Bishop Museum is open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; closed on Tuesdays and Dec. 25.
