Waikiki robbery suspect wanted by police

Man also wanted for attempt sexual assault

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man who is wanted for Robbery in the First Degree, and Attempted Sexual Assault in the first Degree. 

At around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, the victim was on the beach in Waikiki when she was shoved into the sand and held down by an unknown man.

The man took items from her pocket and attempted to remove her clothing.  The female struggled, yelled for help, and was assisted by two men in the area.  The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Police are seeking the witnesses who assisted the victim.
