The final home of Hawaii's monarchy... defaced with graffiti. Iolani Palace security says vandals tagged the entrance sign and two spots on the King Street wall sometime late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. A caretaker was able to clean the sign, but was not able to get rid of two marks on the wall across the King Kamehameha statue. Jim Brown: "THIS IS SACRED AND SACRED IS WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT. NOT ABUSING EACH OTHER. THIS IS PRECIOUS. I'VE LIVED IN THE UNITED STATES MY ENTIRE LIFE AND THIS AREA IS THE ONLY PALACE AND KING THE UNITED STATES HAS EVER HAD." Palace security says its trying to figure out a way to remove the remaining graffiti without damaging the wall.
