UH holds Hawaiian Sign Language presentation

UH researchers discover Hawaii Sign Language

UH M?noa-led team announces public presentation on the discovery of Hawai'i Sign Language and plans for its revitalization.
 
The presentation will include the background story that led to the HSL research, a demonstration of HSL, a discussion of the language's linguistic properties and history, video clips of interviews with HSL users, and a presentation of plans to revitalize the language.
 
INTERPRETERS WILL BE PROVIDED.
