Archbishop Tutu on the Hokulea
Archbishop Desmond Tutu took a special sail on Tuesday.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner blessed the voyaging canoe Hokulea before boarding the vessel.
Tutu, his wife and a few friends were treated to a 40-minute sail in Mamala Bay outside the Kalihi Channel off Oahu's south shore.
Members of the Polynesian Voyaging Society say they were honored that the archbishop was able to sail with them.
