PAUSE FOR MUSIC Lots of you responding to the Hawaii County Council's decision to raise the age to buy tobacco products, including e-cigarettes - to 21. It would still allow those over 18 to smoke, just not to purchase. The is now waiting for Mayor Billy Kenoi's signature, and if he signs it, would fine retails between $500 and $2000 for violating the law. On facebook, Judy Carvalho Puniwai writes, "You can smoke cigarette s but not buy ...I hate cigarette smoke but this is stupid." Kim Bardon says, "So, why don't we just raise the age limit for voting, jury duty, and anything else that requires you to be an adult to 21?" But Samson Mokuahi Jr. Likes the lay, writing cigarettes should be banned altogether!! Kenoi is expected to sign the measure, which would then take effect on July 1st. Head to facebook and let us know if you think the rest of the state should follow suit.
