Paying to have your trash taken away - that proposal from Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell's administration has you talking tonight. Yesterday, we told you about the proposal, which would cost users $10/month and would be added to your property tax bill. The city says trash pickup costs them $50 a month. The money would help with the city's 156-million-dollar budget deficit. On our kitv.com poll, we asked what you think of this plan. Yes. - 28% No. - 70% Undecided 2% Alan Kim says, "This is crazy. Any way to get more money from the taxpayers. But Marilyn Ramos writes, "Reading about the other islands and how much they pay, don't mind paying $10.00. Just give up soda for 1 week and drink water." Residents on Maui pay $18 dollars a month, Kauai resident pay $12.
