A family of three is displaced after a fire caused severe damage to their Lihue home Thursday night.
According to Kauai County officials, the fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. at a single family home on Iliahi St. in the Pua Loke subdivision.
No injuries were reported but the home sustained an estimated $200,000 damage.
Fire crews had the blaze under control within 15 minutes, with the fire fully extinguished by 11 p.m.
The three people who lived in the home are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
