Third man arrested in assault of Pro Bowl player
Stancil, 25, charged with misdemeanor assault
More arrests after a bar room brawl at the M Nightclub at Restaurant Row sidelined an NFL player for the Pro Bowl.
Honolulu police say 25-year-old John Stancil of Waimanalo was arrested Monday night and charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault.
He was released after posting bail and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
The latest arrest stems from what police say was a scuffle early Friday when a group of pro athletes were asked to leave the nightclub.
Police say Washington Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams was hit on the head. There are reports he was also tazed.
Officers arrested 40-year-old Michael Buntendah of Kaneohe shortly after the incident and charged him with misdemeanor assault. He also posted bail.
Over the weekend, a part owner of the club, Michael Miske was charged with felony assault. His attorney told KITV4 News that Miske will plead not guilty.
Miske is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
