The medical examiner's office has identified the man who died after he was pulled from waters across Sea Life Park on Tuesday.

He is identified as 44-year-old Dwayne Scharsch from Waimanalo.  Scharsch was a local professional surfer.

Paramedics responded with Ocean Safety crews at 3 p.m.  Scharsch was taken to an area hospital in critical condition where he later died.

The medical examiner did not have a cause of death.
